Bottle, 75cl. A very dark brown beer with a dense, two-finger dark beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate and a touch of molasses in the aroma. Some dried fruit hints and a vague smoke note I probably wouldn't have noticed without reading the commercial description. It's more evident in the flavor, still very subtle though, with the coffee, chocolate and roasted malts doing most of the work. Some bitterness too of course, and the beer itself isn't too sweet, and not really dry either. It's creamy on the palate, full-bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Lasting dark malts driven finish. Very pleasant and easy drinkable this one. 171229

Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 07.02.22. Pours oily black, with a dark tan head. Decent of lacing. Roasted, malty aroma. Hint of (rye) bread deep down. Creamy, chocolate and fruity notes as it warms. Flavour is roasted as well, with a fruity note and faint hints of coffee. Dryish finish, with an ashy note and a light tartness. Mild bitterness lingering, along with a light grassy/green apple note. Overall good. Not very complex, but well-made and -balanced. 06.09.17. faroeviking (11467) - Nadando en el mar de las chellas, FAROE ISLANDS - AUG 1, 2017
