UPDATED: JAN 23, 2017 Tap, The Beer Grotto, Ann Arbor, MI. Dense Brown. Zero head. Roasted coffee dark chocolate and nut aroma, something I cant place beyond peanut butter. Robust but less body than expected. Interesting after taste. Prune and peanut butter.

On tap at Hopcat A2. Pours black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of peanut butter with some sweet dark grains and a touch of roasted malts underlying. Flavor has lots of peanut butter with some sweet dark grains and some dry roast in the finish.

Aroma is peanut butter, light roasted malt and chocolate. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head, thin. Taste is peanut butter, bread, roasted malt. Mouthfeel is thin, light carbonation, flavor hangs though. Overall, it achieves what it sets out to do, but this could be so much better.

Aroma is chocolate, peanut, and roazted/burnt malts... taste is just not there, very bur the flavor, peanut comes through nice, but malts seem burnt to the extreme, close to excellence... but not there

On tap, this beer has so much potential. It lacks in aroma and palate. The taste is lacking the oomph it should have. It almost tastes flat. Decent beer though, drinkable, I might get another.

Really enjoyed this one. The peanut butter really comes through. The smell is just wonderful

Pour on tap at Hopcat, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought big peanut, chocolate, coffee, some roast into a sweet sugary note with lactose, more peanut butter. Taste was a big but relatively balanced mix of peanut, peanut butter, and cocoa powder, some dark coffee and roast as well, this is pretty focused, but executed fairly well.

(draft @ HopCat - Grand Rapids, MI) Dark brown pour with a puffy tan head. Chocolate and peanut butter aroma with some roasted malts. Beautifully smooth chocolate and peanut butter combination in the flavor. Not overpowering in any sense. Well balanced. Quite delicious.

On tap at HopCat in East Lansing. The pour is a nice deep brown with a thin light tan head and a little bit of spotty lace. The aroma is like a bowl of Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs. There is a good chocolate and peanut butter presence with a strong lactose on the back end. The taste is very similar. Light chocolate and peanut butter. The mouth feel is thin and watery with an aftertaste that lingers with chocolate on the tongue ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
