3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at the Windward Taco Mac. Dark orange, with a small, beige head. Strong orange peels, wet grass, basil, lemons, and white bread. Very bitter, with a little sweet malt profile and a little spiciness. The finish is clean, crisp, and smooth. Medium body, a little effervescent, and creamy. Overall, this is a surprisingly smooth and clean IPA. Very nice.
Cool tap handle, cool pint glass, clear deep orange beer with a little greenish tinge in the sunlight. Malty aroma-- nice. Exceptionally clean, not hugely hoppy, a little mineral, perhaps a little woody. Slippery mouthfeel, goes hoppy at the end and warming going down. Medium heavy body. On tap, Jailhouse Brewery. nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Great IPA. Good balance in this one. Sweet hoppy taste. Good head, good pour, great lacing. Great beer. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Growler Pour from Crafty Draught. Pours dark orange with medium off white head. Dark orange, with a small, beige head. Aroma of citrus mostly in the form of orange, pine, with a malt profile that comes in quite strong. Taste show more orange and piney hops, a bit spicy, heavy sweet malts. Lingering bitterness. I dug it even though there is perhaps a bit more of a malt profile than I like with something of this ABV. Nice creamy, touch oily palate. novice101 (308) - - JUL 1, 2013
Pours a dark gold with a thick white head, smells of pines, citrus but not overpowering. The taste is of citrus but it is well balanced with a malt backbone that keeps the bitterness low, the mouthfeel was very thin. Cybercat (6046) - Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Pours a lovely clear golden amber with plenty of bubbles and a thick, though not too persistent, fluffy eggshell head. Strongly hoppy aroma is mostly resiny and has a citrus underpinning - the lemon really does come through. Hoppy flavor is woodier than the aroma, fairly bitter but not fiercely so, with a citrus undertone that adds a bit of sweetness. Smooth texture has a fair amount of tingle and viscosity. Overall, if not terrific, still worthy.

This one is a bit different than the other Deep Undercover. It pours a deep brown\copper color. White froth. Aroma of toasted malts, earthy-leathery hops. Thin body. Very nice malt backbone, toasted cereal, burnt Cheerios, a touch of chocolate malts character. Finishes with a leather\earthy hop bitterness. Lingering alphas coat the palate. May the 4th be with you.
16 oz draft pours an orange color with a nice white head. Aromas of citrus, pine. Medium bodied, nicely balanced, very good. jrob21 (3774) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - FEB 16, 2013
Growler from ale yeah. Nice c hop aroma and flavor. Faint almost hard to find roasty malt working in the background to qualify for the style. Little bit of a nitty aspect to it. Finish is sticky pine. The hops are here but if love to see the black part of this drink come through a little more. It’s still a tasty drink overall. jredmond (8518) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Draft at the brick house pub with mom and dad while in Georgia. Pours a clear golden amber body with thin white head and lacing. Aroma is great pine upfront with some citrus in the back. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly bitter with notes of bitter grapefruit, not much pine.
