It pours a brownish orange with a very small white head. It has the aroma of caramel, nuts & bread. It tastes of resin, leather & bread with a nice roasty flavor. I really enjoyed this beer and am glad that I purchased it. I really wish distribution was better for this beer as I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried by them so far. drowland (8939) - Georgia, USA - FEB 29, 2016

Flavorless and watery brew that fails to deliver. Some toast and a little fruit but mostly bland.

Taste- Malt, yeast and a slight taste of fruit. I very nice flavor
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation
Overall- Another good beer from Jailhouse, a beer that is still hard to find in the metro Atlanta area. Strangebrewer (1334) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2014
bottle. Poured clear auburn with almost no head. Aroma of light rye malt. Light-medium body, average carbonation, finish is a bit sour. Flavour of caramel malt, slightly peppery, a nice session. Aurelius (5492) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 30, 2014
Big fluffy head on a brown-orange brew. Malty, grainy, a bit grassy-earthy at times as it warmed up. It really almost seemed like a brown ale in its sweetness, and wasn’t too acidic as many amber ales can be. There was a little ale peatiness, and it was well-played. Very drinkable. On tap at the brewery in Hampton, GA. Travelling back home from a conference in Atlanta. Jamesthebrit (421) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Lighter dry aroma. Malty. A little spice or something. Like nutmeg.
Looks better than any Amber I’ve seen. Bold brown color.
Taste is malty with a bit of hops. Subtle hebaciousness.
Palate is dry. Maybe too heavy for a Amber.
Solid amber ale. ttroha (516) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - AUG 11, 2014
Tap at Gibney’s Pub. Hazy amber in color with almost no head. Aroma of dark fruits and molasses. Tastes of dates, caramel and biscuits, Sweet, buttery aftertaste.
