The first of our employee brewed beers. An easy to drink pilsner that is crisp and slightly tart with a moderate yet refined hop nose. Aromatic maltiness with a hint of sweet but surprisingly dry and drinkable. An enjoyable linger of bitterness to compliment the mellow pilsner malt and hint of tart character.

Bomber from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a hazy straw color with a large pillowy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of grass, floral hops, faint pale malts and a mild green apple note. The taste is grainy malts, green apple, hay, faint earthy and grass and a tart finish. Thin-medium bodied. Almost a good beer, but it falls a little short.

SpringsLicker (3677) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Pours a light gold with a tall, long lasting, billowy white head. The aroma is light spice. The flavor is a bit washed out, but has some nice hop bitterness with a bit of sourness on the back end that detracts. A little muddled; it could be more crisp.

Cybercat (6145) - Georgia, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Pours a clear, rather wan solar yellow with not much head. OK, maybe give it a break, this IS a pils. Aroma, though, is better - malty, fruity, firm if not strong, hint of hops. Flavor is quite satisfying - malty, hoppy, fruity and a little yeasty. Very satisfying! Texture has decent body and plenty of fizz. One tasty pils - maybe not worth prison time (Please don’t drink and drive!!!) but definitely worth seeking if you like pilsners.

These guys will give you a nice German style drunk for sure. Pouts a clear yellow with a frothy white head. Toasty grain and light fruit aroma. Green apple. Flavor has a lightly toasted grain aspect with a pleasant bitterness on the finish. A little bit of spice and some grassiness there. Way more entertaining than many in this style.

22 oz. bottle. Pours clear, pale yellow with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is apples, orange peels, coriander, and sourdough. The flavor is citrus sweetness and mild bitterness. The palate is light to medium, astringent, and clingy. Overall, this is a bright and flavorful pilsner, with complex nose, but an unpleasant mouthfeel.

JHB PCP. Bottle from santa. Pretty light gold color with a small white head. Floral aroma that reminds me of a light potpourri. Maybe a touch of apples. Nice. Taste is grassy, lightly sweet with fruit candy, and a crisp finish. Light to medium body. Enjoyable pilsener that I think Atom would fucking cream himself for.

[Bottle] shared by Matt. Thanks! Pours hazy gold with a large, soapy white head. The aroma is light sugary sweetness, light bready malt, a touch of saaz and other noble hops. It would be much nicer if the sweetness was in balance. The flavor isn’t quite as sweet as the aroma suggests, but still a bit out of whack. Bright and crisp despite the rest, a touch of saaz on the back end, with a surprising touch of bitterness.

aracauna (3680) - Georgia, USA - JUL 21, 2012
This is definitely better than just another pale lager. This is much maltier, a little grainy, a little on the sweet side and definitely hoppier than the average pale lager. The problem is that this isn’t as good of a pils as something like Prima Pils. The best of the style are drier and even hoppier. This is good. It’s just not as good as the best.

Bomber purchased from Hop City. Very nice overall, great choice with summer food.
