Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, pale straw-hued body with a fine, medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Sweetish, floral, and hinting of orange blossom honey on the nose with a dull, subtle note of spice.
Taste: Sweet, lightly sugary malts with a thin drizzle of pear juice and a small spoonful of orange marmalade. The malts give a faint hint of crustless white bread. Faintly spicy hops with a low bitterness. A bit of honeysuckle and Prosecco on the tongue for the fast, crisp finish. Rather moreish for me.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Moves rather ably across the palette.
Overall: A single malt and a single hop variety makes for a somewhat simplistic saison experience, but when considered as a supremely refreshing, summertime beer, it’s tops. I just wish the cost wasn’t eight bucks per bottle, giving my wallet a reprieve from its cash. Maybe one day this could see its way to sensibly-priced six-packs.
The hazy body was golden yellow in color, and exhibited a two finger thick head, fed by some lively carbonation streamers. The aroma was floral, earthy, and a bit like honey, and was very pleasingly rustic. The taste was light and airy, with a clean and simple wheat sweetness, a lemony sourness, and a slightly spicy finish, with a touch of clove and pepper. This was much more evocative of a quenching summer drink served to farmhands, than a typical Saison of today. The body felt thin and runny, but I think this was exactly the intended effect. A great effort by the local boys. ordybill (1758) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 21, 2015
Poured from a Bomber into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a nice yeasty/bread aroma
Appearance- This beer pours a murky honey color with a thick white head
Taste- Has a Bread flavor that transitions into fruit (pear)
Palate- This is a medium bodied beer with moderate to heavy carbonation.
Overall- A really enjoyable beer, rather hard to find even in Georgia but if you see it I would give it a try

Growler, Alpharetta. Really enjoyed this beer. A little heavy, but not overly so. Amber caramel, quite tasty. Cybercat (5838) - Georgia, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Strong aroma is wheaty, yeasty, malty, and a little bit - but not unpleasantly - rubbery with sweet lemon and cheesy undertones. It pours a clear solar yellow with a fairly thick, if not persistent, white head. Malty, cheesy flavor is slightly sweet, a little yeasty and wheaty, with a sweet citrus hint - refreshing and lip-smacking, perfect at the end of a freaking hot day (and it’s not yet officially summer!). Fizzy texture leaves behind a nice, rather persistent tingle and a tasty cheesy finish. I love cheese!

On tap at Taco Mac in Midtown. Pours light frothy gold. Aroma is spicy. Well crafted crisp spicy saison. Quality beer, but did not strongly stand out to me. Would recommend. drunkenpolack (319) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Reprieve pours a hazy golden color. Pure white pillow like head with a ton of bubbles shooting up to the top of the glass. Aroma is not huge but what’s there is nice and inviting. Floral with a small bit of spice. Nice aroma of fruit. Apple, citrus, and lemon. The usually yeasty character you get from this style of beer is there too.
Again the taste is not overwhelming or huge but for me it hit all the right notes. A small amount of barnyard funk. Tart and sour lemon notes. The other fruits I mention in the aroma seem to disappear a bit. Then what follows is some yeast and spice that meld together nicely. There’s a bready almost earthy taste that lingers at the end. Everything just comes together nicely.
Mouthfeel is a bit thin and fizzy. But honestly thats ok. I think it goes perfect with everything else this beer offers. This one goes down lovely after a hot summer day. DarkSong (380) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - AUG 24, 2014
22 oz bottle. It pours a hazy very pale yellow with a massive white long lasting head. It has a funky barnyard aroma along with a wheat aroma and a hint of lemon. It has a light body and has a funky barn yard flavor along with a little banana, a little bread and a slight leather flavor. I really like this beer and have enjoyed everything I’ve had by this brewery. WVHouseofBeer (1068) - West Virginia, USA - MAY 24, 2015
Pours a beautiful, hazy golden color with a big, frothy white head. Aromas and flavors of hay, bread, lemon and pineapple. Average carbonation and just a slight touch of bitterness at the end from the hops. A very well done saison; I can’t find a single thing wrong with it. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2016
Pours a golden yellow with big fizzy head. Aromas of hay, yeast, & some funk. Smooth yeasty taste with a touch of grass.
