Pours clear amber with a soapy beige head. The aroma is another James Page diacetyl-fest ~ at least they’re consistent. There is also some toasted malt and honey like sweetness. Medium / thin body with soft frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with toasted malt and lots of popcorn butter and medicinal malts. The finish is spicy and astringent. I bought three James Page labeled beers - this is the last of the three and also the last James Page beer I will ever have. This is obviously at thumbs way down beer. Bottle at the Point Brewery. Not bad, orangy-amber in color, light head, mild malt nose. Good flavor, highly drinkable. 1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2006
Bottle. The beer pours to a glowing orange body with a creamy off-white head. Nice visible carbonation and decent lacing. The aroma is malty and has that typical earthy toffee and grain sack qualities. Subtle hops. The flavor has tons of malty grains. Light buttery peanuts. Definitely has that Vienna lager quality to it. Light herbal hops. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2006
A sandy head doesn’t last long over a bright amber body. Malted aroma to be sure, starting sweet with a hint of non-descript fruitiness yet finishing with a drier grain profile. Malted flavor, bittersweet, with a nice body. Finishes with a hint of sourness.Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAY 13, 2006

The aroma’s a bit faint, sweet malt with a bit of graininess to it. Smooth and tasting of sweet caramel, dark toffee, and a light earthy/nutty bitterness, this amber/copper beer is a satisfying if unexciting drink.

Bottle. Red-orange in color with a small, quickly fading head. Malty sweet taste and aroma. Light and thin overall. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 24, 2006
Aroma was a grainey malt , light attractive amber color, mild malt with a slight tartness to it, some bitterness on the swallow crispness of a lager,as a Vienna it should have a little toastiness or carmel taste ,lite body. Pretty much the standard for this brewery, light bodied thirst quenchers LtJudge (468) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 26, 2006

Poured from a 12-oz. bottle: clear, medium amber with a thinnish white head. Decent lacing. Somewhat grainy aroma. Surprisingly hoppy taste with a good underlying dose of malt. Smooth mouthfeel with average carbonation. Nice, clean finish. heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 17, 2006
Medium orange colored body with a thick white head. The aroma is potatoes with some green bell peppers and a hin of caramel. The taste is light caramel with some light carrots. A nice subtle vienna lager. This could be a good session beer.
