Pours orangey-amber with a very thin head. Aroma is somewhat stale, corn syrup spilled on cardboard, mild pepper notes. Flavor is unoffensive but forgettable, initial bready maltiness balanced by gentle peppery hops and and very slight apple skin note. Drinkable, refreshing. wilnatp (692) - Minnesota, USA - APR 16, 2012
BOTTLE: Amber pour with minimal head. Caramel and malt on the nose. Taste is sweet, malt and gram cracker. buckybeer (666) - Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Pours a medium clean amber and has a small quickly fading head. Aroma light malts, grains and traces of citrus. Flavor takes on a bigger malt tone. Also touches of caramel and bitter hops. Better than I thought it would be. bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - MAR 6, 2008
Pours a rich amber color yet with a taste that is quite thin. It was an ok beer but not really what I was expecting.

Pours a reddish amber color with thin white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is quite malty with a taste that follows. Slightly bitter finish and a lighter body. TheBeerCollector (633) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 10, 2004
Looks good in the glass. Dark amber color with a decent head. Pretty average flavor and aroma. This would be a good winter time session lager. Hoss (607) - Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2001
Had it on a plane and I was desperate for a brew. incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - NOV 5, 2007
Had on the MN Zepher train. Not much of a selection of brew on the train, so this will due. Not bad, some slight sweetness, a lot of malt. Easy, light drinker. Not bad. envane (570) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2004
Amber coloured. Caramel, fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, caramel, light hops. Decent.
