This looks like it shouldn’t be good - the appearance is more like pop than beer. But the Iron Range lager has a rich flavor, a lot of sweetness, and a great aftertaste. THe only beer worth drinking on Northwest Airlines flights! bigsturgis (3) - Cottage Grove, Minnesota, USA - AUG 13, 2005 does not count
This is the best beer that I have ever had. This beer is better than any commen Pilsner. OD40oz (774) - Box Elder, South Dakota, USA - NOV 18, 2003
UPDATED: APR 12, 2004 I thought this was some pretty good shit. Dry taste, a little bitter. I can taste the barley. noy-zee (63) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 26, 2002

This is a good solid beer that can somethmes be a little watery. It has an average amount of bitterness, but not overpowering. The only thing lacking in this beer is that it may be a little to light.

red, brown colour with a ample head.
malty but not sweet taste that has caramel overtones.
enoyugh hop finish at the end to keep this from being bland.

Great, easy drinking lager. Had this on a business trip to Minneapolis. I remember a cherry aftertaste, but not too overwhelming. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - NOV 28, 2002
