A smooth real beer taste without aftertaste. It is fully fermented, lightly hopped and dry brewed, creating a lightly coloured beer with less body.

[bottle] Not unpleasant aroma of hay and green apples. Crystal clear straw appearance with a quickly dropping white fuzz on top. Not quite offensive yellow megaswill: faint hay and grain with detectable hops flavour, slight DMS, and some powdered sugar. The flavour is so weak that the 5.5% alcohol really comes though. Medium carbonation, light body, not quite crisp finish.

Well... it tastes better than moosehead at least, not overly foul. Smell is a bit off and taste doesn’t leave anything to be desired. Piss yellow colour.

Originally rated June 2006. Bought a cheap 24-pack of this stuff at The Beer Store. Pours a straw yellow colour with a big frothy white head that has pretty good retention and decent smudgy lace. Lively carbonation with over-average sized bubbles. The nose is a good mix of hop, sweet malt and mild corn. Medium stickiness for the mouthfeel. Grainy malt start with a big corn finish. Some nice fruit comes out in the aftertaste. Originally tasted from the bottle, the fruit seemed like rhubarb. One of the better "Value Brands" at The Beer Store, but still, hard to drink to many of these in a row.

Canette 473ml.

if i had to buy any of those buck-a-beer brews I would go for this one. it doesnt have that skunk taste the other ones get and its has a little more alcohol

473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium-sized white head. Grainy aroma with light corn and grass. Taste of stale grains, corn and very light grass. Thin body. Quite bad but not terrible.

This may be one of the worst beers available, however on the plus side it does have neat little amusing anecdotes under the cap on each bottle. Gives me personally a bit of a headache on every occasion I’ve sampled it.

Nice beer, very cheap for the higher alcohol. not a beer I have often but I will buy this from time to time

Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a large bubbly pure white head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light adjunct and residual sugar. Taste is bland though adjunct do not overtake too much from the taste. Body is quite light with good carbonation. Not bad for the style though not something I will seek out again – too bland for my taste.

Looks like a typical beer. Yellowish pour with some head up top. Heads a bit more clingy then normal. Sent is waxy and synthetic like warm plastic right off the assembly line. Taste is thankfully better. Grainy, hoppy. Overcarbonated. Still not bad for a non-micro. A step above the generic crap. Unfortunately only a step and not a flight. Unbalanced a bit, odd aftertaste. Still vs. most swill you find this has some nice hoppy flavour so def. worth a shot.
