COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth real beer taste without aftertaste. It is fully fermented, lightly hopped and dry brewed, creating a lightly coloured beer with less body.

Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a large bubbly pure white head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Aroma of light adjunct and residual sugar. Taste is bland though adjunct do not overtake too much from the taste. Body is quite light with good carbonation. Not bad for the style though not something I will seek out again – too bland for my taste.

Looks like a typical beer. Yellowish pour with some head up top. Heads a bit more clingy then normal. Sent is waxy and synthetic like warm plastic right off the assembly line. Taste is thankfully better. Grainy, hoppy. Overcarbonated. Still not bad for a non-micro. A step above the generic crap. Unfortunately only a step and not a flight. Unbalanced a bit, odd aftertaste. Still vs. most swill you find this has some nice hoppy flavour so def. worth a shot.

I tried this beer on March 24, 2010 after purchasing from the singles bin at one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a bubbly white head that quickly disappeared. The aroma was grainy malt, grass, and some stale hoppy tones. The mouthfeel was weak to medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was stale malt, some graininess, and a slight bitter finish.

I’m not going to say it’s a great beer, for a buck a bottle I’m not sure that’s possible. But in all honesty I don’t find it offensive, it’s light and smooth and for the price, seems to be comparable to many similar beers that cost more. Until I find something drastically better, this will be my summer BBQ beer-of-choice.

Tessic (1206) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2009
This lager poured a crystal clear, light yellow colour with a big, bright white, foamy head. To the nose there are scents of eggs, corn and sweet malt. First taste was watery with a almost wine flavour to the finish. This was then tapered to a watery corn flavour. Generic white bread swill.

Papillon (424) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 7, 2009
341 mL Bottle. Straw colour with a bubbly-fizzy short-lived head. Aroma is cereal, yeast, and earth with an innuendo of skunk. Corn dominates over whatever grains are in there. Is that simulated hops I’m getting in the aftertaste? No, it’s a mix of dirty ash tray and derrière de skunk. Bitter-nutty finish. Palate is thin, somewhat watery with barely enough of a definition of beer to offset some of it. Whoever this "James" is, he’s not Ready for any serious beer drinking.

Smells of corn, rice and adjuncts, pale yellow, pours a small short lived white head. Taste is plastic, and what I’d imagine watered down gasoline would be like. Thin, unpleasant. Very poor.

love it cheap beer that goes down easy......................................

mansquito (6888) - Nueva York, New York, USA - DEC 22, 2008
Pours pale color with white head. Aroma is not so good. Taste that is there is pretty bad. I do not much like it, but apparently in Canada you have less choice of cheap beers. At least it has an extra .5 alcohol.

Best in its class. And, better than any of the big 10. The price difference between this beer and say, Crapadian, suggests the latter ought to be somewhat better. It’s not. Good for a first beer, but not enough depth to keep me interested.
