UPDATED: APR 6, 2008 Draught at the brewhouse (pint). Arrived a burnt red copper with a small, creamy, white head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of crystal malts, tart blackberries, cranberries and sweet toffee. Flavor was a moderate bitterness with tart blackberries, caramel, sweet malts (crystal), light toffee and a light metallic finish. Medium bodied with light carbonation, a watery texture, dry mouthfeel and an ok finish. vanvenlo (1913) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - JUN 27, 2004
19 April 2004 - Low head retention, nice lacing, slight haziness, needs to be a little more red. Subtle malt aroma. Nice starting malt but lacks complexity. UnholyBrewing (596) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - APR 21, 2008
