Poured dark amber with moderate off-white head that didnt last. Aroma of dry bready malt. Tast of toasted wheat and a nutty quality that I enjoyed. Thin/watery on palate which let it down. One of the ’best’ beers often available on tap... has saved me from consuming other swill.

Deep amber color. Off sweet, malty palate that shows pears, toffee and peaches. Good depth for the style. Nice beer

Tap at the Crafty Squire, Russell St Melbourne. Poured a clear medium amber with a long-lasting thin white head and clingy lace. The aroma is caramel malt, toffee, light fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet with a crisp, dry, fruity, dry malt, floral metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at The Charming Squire, pours s hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, not much else. Flavour brings out fruity berry notes and bready malt. Clean and well-made, just leaving a lot to the imagination. Decent.

Bärnstensfärgad till kopparfärgad öl med ett lättare smutsvitt skum. Doften är maltig med inslag av övermogna frukter och karamell. Något för söt och utan balanserande beska.

Enjoyable. Tasty. Worth buying a carton. Quite easily down a few in a session

This is solid enough in a world where Amber ales are few and far between. Slightly toasty, hint of toffee, subtle nutty finish. Does the job when needed.

Found notes from my 2009 Australia trip. Bottle to glass. This was a tasty ale. Reddish color, clear. One of the better beers I had there.
