Bottle 345ml. Good aroma, but light-bodied and too sweet for me. Aroma has grass, yeast, and also some caramel. The flavour is light and sweet, with just a touch of bitterness. Amber colour, with a thin white head that disappears. Palate is thin. jonno (3012) - JAPAN - SEP 5, 2009
Very fruity, but otherwise a bit of a miss. Another easy drinking Australian beer that does nothing to stimulate the senses. Dervock (1510) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 22, 2009
Bottle - pous a golden amber with a loose white head that quickly disappears. Faint floral aroma.Light floral and malt flavours with a hoppy bitter finish. Davros (3338) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 13, 2009
From can on a flight from Sydney to Cairns.
Golden amber pour with a reasonable creamy head leaving lots of lacing.
Floral hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. Sweet clean malt backing.
Flavours are mostly clean malt with some toasty hints. Green hops shine through followed by a gentle bitterness. Nice flavours but finishes weakly.
Great creamy carbonation and body. bradlyc77 (226) - Sebastopol, California, USA - JUL 2, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear light orange-amber color with 1 inch head that fades fast but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is pine/spruce, yeast. Taste is piney/sprucy, fruity, citrus, some cereal qualities. Texture is thin and soapy. Light to moderate bitterness. This is a good session beer but a bit on the fruity side.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Citric, pine aroma. Pine, fruits, hops. Dry finish, a bit metallic and watery. nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JUN 20, 2009
Draught at Platform Bar, Brisbane. Pours golden with a lively white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, citrus and hop notes. Medium bodied and OK bitterness in the finish. A good session beer that takes on slightly more character on draught than in the bottle. alepig666 (78) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - JUN 10, 2009
Two words: TOO SWEET. Like all James Squire beers it’s technically excellent, but to me this lacks balls, is sickly and made me retch. Bloated the hell out of me too. Good if you like sweet beers, but definitely not my thing. lgklotet (437) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 6, 2009
Bottle. Amber or golden colour. Some discreet malts and hops in aroma. Likewise in taste. Pretty much what you expect in a golden ale. Quite sweet aftertaste. Good enough for a lazy afternoon by the pool jkm (235) - AUSTRALIA - APR 5, 2009
A clear golden orange beer with an off white head. Thin to medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet fruity flavours with low to moderate bitterness. An enjoyable and refreshing beer.
