A-- Poured a clear honey, gold straw color. One finger off white head that quickly died down to just above film. Lots of carbonation showing on the sides of the glass. Half finger of head on swirling. Just a bit of soapy lacing on the sides of the glass. S-- Sweet malt, honey, stewed vegetables and a touch of metal.. Hops are just a touch floral. T-- Stale bread, vegetables and honey. Tastes old and a lot like an adjunct. M-- A lot of sweet honey and malt in the mouth. It is creamy and quite carbonated. Hops are really eaten up by the sweetness in this but a better mouthfeel than taste. D-- Drinkable on a hot day but otherwise nothing to get excited about.

On tap at the Portland Brewhouse. Served a bronze color with a decent thick head that fades slowly to nice lacing. Aroma of some hops and malt sweetness and a bit of herbs in the background. Taste is a mix of citrus and malt sweetness with a hint of honey. Decent bitterness and a dry finish. fairly medium body, quite smooth and creamy. Nice golden ale, nothing to rave about, but is good for a few.

One of my favourites, love pubs that have this on tap. On presentation it looks pretty standard, but tastes great! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Vivid yellow colour with an overactive white marshmallow head. Consequently the aroma was masked, but what came through after a bit of time out came aromas of lemon curd and pink grapefruit, maybe a little green herb? Flavours are typical of golden ales. Bright tropical fruit salad flavours, juicy and sweet. Not particularly enduring but upon tasting there was good carbonation and mouthfeel. A good quencher.

345ml Bottle. Very subtle hop aroma. Pleasing ale. A good session beer. Nothing too overpowering.

Can on a Qantas flight. Deep gold with plenty of fizz. Sweet aroma and flavour with a caramel edge and orange fruit. Flavour was dryish with a touch of hop. Ok.

Great golden amber ale with nice frothy white head. Nice hop and bitterness. No significant aroma. Constant taste from start to finnish.

Pours a good golden colour with a frothy white head that has good staying power. Aroma is sweet malt with notes of caramel and grass. Taste is also sweet malt with notes of caramel and grass leading to citrusy finish. Nice soft mouth feel. Ok.

Light carb, citrisy taste, slightly hoppy finish. Overall nothing special but pretty reasonable.

345mL poured into a 250mL Leffe glass. this beer was mildly malty, presenting a watery aroma, with suggestions of bread. the frothy soft meringue head sat amidst an amber sparkling appearance. the taste and palate were light, slim and moderately bitter. a refreshing, summery finish.
