I don’t get why this is so low. Great copper colour with a thick white head. Nice aroma of resh hops. Taste is spicy and resiny with a nice malt presence in the background. A little over cabronated which detracts a bit from the flavour. hops sort of die off as it warms.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Stas'. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for buying it in Sydney, Thanks SIL for packing and delivering it from NYC. Clear gold, white film. Ripe apple, honey, molasses, some grain aroma. Sweet malty taste, lots of oxidation - tastes old. Medium body, fizzy, oxidized finish. Old.

A good Ale that goes down well on an Australian summer night. Easy to drink.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks kerenmk. Deep golden. Cardboard, oxidation, honey, sweetish, faint bitterish note. Old. Not good.

On tap, schooner. Pours a pale straw gold with a thin white head. Aroma: Biscuity malt, mild citrus, pine notes. Taste: Citrus and biscuity malt flavours dominate the flavour balance. Not complex. A basic easy drinking beer. Moderate carbonation. Mild bitterness. All in all, a decent beer.

Tap at the Crafty Squire, Russell St Melbourne. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is caramel malt, light hop bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a grainy malt light fruit, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Mild aroma of grass and sweet stone fruit. Mild taste of citrus and pine notes as well as little bit of apricot. The finish is more lager than ale. I quite like this one.

Gyllengul till bärnstensfärgad öl med vitt skum. Doft av säd, jäst och lättare malttoner. Lättare gräsig beska tillkommer i smaken.

An easy drinking ale, nothing to crazy. Kind of boring but smooth and easy to put back.

Tap @ the Camperdown hotel. Rubbish. Overly sweet. Yet another ordinary beer from James squires. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
