[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An almost opaque brown beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet with lots of notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet roasted giving it notes of chocolate, but the alcohol is also present. The roastiness gives it a dry end, with an aftertaste of coffee. Very dark and very aromatic with chocolate, (hard) toasted bread, some vanila, some red berries and other stuff. Rich head. Palate is full bodied, Flavours it got plenty. As with the aroma lots of stuf and a dry finnish even if the beer itself is on the sweet side. The alco content could not be tasted in most of the samples (some though, did have this off flavour for some unknown reason.) A new favourite from my favourite brewery. Hope they will continue this velvety Baltic Porter. (No plans at present)

This is not a baltic porter per se. Almost opaque black, creamy coffee head. Roasted, tobacco nose. Chocolaty, roasted with long roasted aftertaste. Well-balanced, enjoyable (imperial) stout.
Draught. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Hoppy fruity roasted malt in aroma. Roasted malt and old coffee with caramellish hints in flavour. A bit wheat too. Dryness at one point but then turns into a bit full and sticky palate. Overall very good one. Warming finish (of alcohol). pilsnerrogge (3036) - Finspång, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2005

Beer Festival 2005) Dark redish brown, almost black. Nice head. Malty aroma. Very malty flavor, maybe some toffee. The alcohol creates a warming finish.

Beer Festival 2005) Very dark reddish brown color with a medium, foamy and beige head with lace. Mild, creamy, roasted-malty aroma with some sourness. Smoothly malty, lightly wineous flavor with coffee, some ashes and warming alcohol in the background. Very clean and quite balanced, warming stout.
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2005 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Amber with a nice brown/beige head. Roasted aroma from dark chocolate, licorice, tar and hops. Tar aroma, very hoppy and salty, dark chocolate. Bitter finish. Very good and complex. ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 1, 2005
(sampled draught at Stockholm Beer Festival) Black with a small dissapearing tan head. Strong roasty aroma of chocolate, licorice, espresso and black currant. Full and roasty flavour of espresso, licorice, pepper and chocolate. Very bitter and burnt aftertaste, hints of figs and licorice. omhper (26043) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2005
Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Near black, small beige head. Rich licorice aroma. Sweet and malty with citric hops on top of it, some molasses creates an oily mouthfeel. Tarry finish. Rock solid.
