Bottle at SMÖF 2010. It poured a clear copper liquid with a ring of foam on the edge of the glass. Malty and caramel flavour. Semi smooth mouthfeel and light body. Not one of Jämtlands better lagers.bergstaden (3099) - Røros, NORWAY - NOV 2, 2010

It poured a clear dark golden-amber liquid with a medium sized foam that left some lacing. It had a scent of grassy hops, malt and hay. It had a taste of grassy hops, malt, something sweet and a hint of caramell. It also had some acidicy and wasn’t very smooth. A very nice lager, but only a decent beer.

Initially it was by all likeliness the most bitter of commercial Swedish beers. Like a bottom fermented IPA. Now it seems slightly toned down, resulting in better balance.
The rare cask conditioned version is even better, sporting more chewy maltiness and wonderful complexity.
Bottle. Pours clear amber colored with a small egg white head. Aromas of caramel and fruit. Slightly sour flavor with notes of grainy malt and citrus fruits. Steely (241) - , SWEDEN - JUL 16, 2010
Glowing amber color with a great wild sparkling carbonation. Small creamy white head leaving thick lacing in the glass. Aroma is fresh sweet malt with caramel and a touch of grapefruit. Flavor is smooth malt with a caramel sweetness perfectly balanced with a grapefruit hoppiness. Very pleasant contribution from the boys up north in Jämtland. liinis (1774) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 16, 2010
Jämtlands never fail. these guys know their beer. delicious . this is what a premium lager should be on the bottom line abemorsten (3650) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - MAR 9, 2010
Clear golden body with tanned frothy head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy pine bitter and light alcoholic with a long lasting sweetness and a metallic hint in the finish. Medium bodied. Carbonation on the heavy side. Unbalanced and too rich for a lager. But definitely drinkable. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2010
Pours dark amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, fresh, light citrus. Flavour is malt, light citrus and grass hop.
