UPDATED: JUN 12, 2014 (Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2011). Flavor of vanilla and roasted malt. The aftertaste is quite bitter, with hints of grapefruit. No this is not a beer to my liking! larsniclas (7234) - Billdal, SWEDEN - OCT 14, 2012

Grey head. Dark brown color. Huge american hop aroma. This also dominate the taste toghether with dark roasted malts and a complex maltiness. No sweetness and balanced for an IPA.

On tap. Pours clear and almost black with a reddish hue and a creamy beige head leaving a neat lacework. Discreet roast aroma and equally discreet citrusy hops. Medium body, lightly sweet roast and dried fruit with a discreet yet present hoppyness. 301011 OleR (4849) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 17, 2011
From keg @The Rover, Göteborg. Dense dirty blond head. Black body with a brown shade. Light resinous hop aroma. Mild coffee tones and a hint of licorice. Flavor is bitter-sweet with choco-accented dark malts. Simple and straightforward bitterness. Clean mouthfeel. Finishes on the sweet side of bitter-sweet. I like them drier than this. Anyway, it went well down. hirigalzkar (3278) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 17, 2011
Draught @ Glenfiddich Warehouse. Very dark in all aspects. Chocolate. Salmiak. Not that hoppy, actually. Creamy. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2011
(Bottle) Pours near black with a medium sized light brown head. The aroma holds liquorice, crisp bread, light burned caramel, light blackberry/fruity, citric, mild floral and standard roasted. The flavour light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Coffee, salt liquorice and hops. The mouthfeel is fairly clean with a light crisp, medium carbonation. Roast, bitter hops and light alcohol on the finish. Near medium bodied.
