Flaska från SB. Svart vätska med kaffegräddfärgat skum. Svag brödig doft. Stram och neutral beska. Helt ok men inte mer.

Sample at Indy tasting Dick’s BBQ 3/31/06 - thanks MrWalker - Aroma is roasted dark malts and smoke. Pours cloudy dark brown with small head and good lacing. Flavor is roasted dark malts, chocolate, earthy, and smokey. Palate is sticky. Tasty brew. I may have to dig into the style a bit more.

Kåstå (1272) - Mol, BELGIUM - JUL 4, 2004
Dark red-amber colouredbeer with a small head. Slightly roasted malty, molasses aroma. Roasted malty taste with a dry light bitter burned smoky finish. A nice and interesting beer but I would not drink a lot of it.

OlJuntan64 (1264) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 4, 2004
Dark dark ruby red with small beige head. Strong sweet fruity mollases aroma. Low sweetness super mouth drying palate. Medium bitter roasted malts flavours, with hint of floral honey flavours. Definitive smokey super roasted dry finish. Intriuging"

Dark brown body, beige big bubbled head; Huge nose, complex but lacks depth, pleasant mix of milk chocolate, allspice, cinnamon; Soft texture, very soft, big carbonation, balanced bitter body; Quite long a little bitter finish with soft aromas of chocolate and cinnamon.

Bottle. Dark brown with bubbly beige head. Packed to the brim! Malt, coffee, dark chocolate, leather, vegemite, chalky (do not want to steal duff’s ashtray/charcoal - but that’s more it!), dry and bitter finish. Full, fluffy(?) mouthfeel. I love it - must be one of the best bottom-fermented beer I’ve ever had.

Brown dark redish body. Begie head. Aroma brings toffee, coffee and malt. Flavor is malty, butter and coffee.

Mad_Ferret (1025) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 22, 2011
Bottle. Clear chestnut, almost black, with a big tanned compact head that leaves a crater in the glass. Big sweet malty aroma with lots of chocolate, dark bread, syrup, butter, some sweet licorice and nice grassy hops. Taste is sweet and rich with chocolate, crisp bread, caramel, coffee, berries, vanilla and a nice grassy bitterness. Medium to bigger body with soft carbonation. Very rich and nice and, like someone said, almost porter like.

4.7
Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - MAR 1, 2003
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2003 Almost black, thin delicate head, robust malt character. Nice bitter hops all around. The name says everything. (Rerate Overall +2 (I surrender, it's beautiful)).
