Bottle, at home. I bought this beer because of Rick Gordon - thanks! Redbrown with a large light creamy beige head, good lacings, mostly diminishing. Aroma moderate to heavy malty and hoppy (caramel, vanilla, licorice). Flavor moderate to heavy sweet and bitter, long duration, well balanced. Medium body, oily, soft carbonated.

Pours dark amber with a thick, creamy tan head. Yeasty, toffe-ish nose with the usual Jämtlands house character. Some nuttyness is present. Spicy, slight hoppy flavour with some notes of yeast. Acidic and bitter in finish.

Finally I got down to rate this. Have had it every year and enjoyed it. A rich head and the house aroma we all love is there. Very good balance of malts and hops. Fullbodied and moreish.
