50cl - Best before 4/06 - Thanks MrWalker - Aroma of toasted malts and nuts, sprouts, and a bit of spice. Pours transparent mahagony with a medium head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma with more roastiness and a touch of cranberry. Palate is sticky. A pretty tasty easy drinking brew.

JCW (1278) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 27, 2003
Dark Brown color. Pours with a medium head - classic looking dark beer. Sweet and fruity, I like the flavor, but it is not as malty as many of the other strong ale's I've had. A slight roast and carmel flavor does come through with some hop bitterness. Slight bitterness on the finish. Good Beer
