Linnet (1813) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - APR 28, 2010
Amber colour, medium latte head, lacing.
Malty, roasted malts, bready, nutty, earthy hops, alcohol.
Very appealing bitterness, otherwise very English in style maltiness, roasted, toffee, fruity.
Smooth but a little thin.
This is a laidback enjoyable beer. Croff (164) - Ostra Sonnarslov, SWEDEN - APR 27, 2010
Pours a cloudy dark amber. Rocky off white head that slowly fades. Malt caramel aroma. Flavor is malt, hop, grass, bits of roast and caramel. Finish is a bit dry and sweet with roast, hop, bits of malt and caramel. Medium bodied. Not a well rounded brew. There seems to be different flavors hitting you from all sides at times. I mean you get the malt sweetness, then a zap from the hop, then back to malt sweet. It is a okay brew, not offensive, but a bit to malty for me. This is close to being a pale ale. dnoaksson (827) - , SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2010
Jämtlands bryggeri är en hovleverantör av kvalitet. Komplex utan att bli avancerad. Kraftfull utan att tappa nyanserna. Ännu en fullträff, kort sagt. gyllenbock (9097) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 27, 2010
Copper with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and some hops. Quite sweet taste of malt, hops, caramel, nuts and fruit. Medium body and carbonation. A descent beer. olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2010
Dark amber liquid with a medium sized fluffy dirty white head that left chunks of foam on the side of the glass.
Grassy hops, caramel, malt and fruits.
Caramel, malt, bread, fruits and citrus.
Smooth mouthfeel with just a little bit of sting, creamy, medium thick body and low carbonation.
Probably the best Easter beer so far. Good balance between bitterness and sweetness. It also had a noticeable hoppy and malty character.
Fairly enjoyable but I suspect this isn’t a great match with the Easter food. The bitterness isn’t very intense but I got a feeling it would clash with the salty Easter food, specifically anything containing dill.

Bottle 2010. Copper colored with a white head that leaves lots of nice lacing. Floral and herby aroma with some caramel and cookies. Taste is bitter and hoppy. Medium body, almost a bit light for its ABV. English styled in the typical Jämtland way. Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2010
Bottle 2010. Copper/dark red colour with an off-white head. Aroma: Malty, toasty, caramel, hops, wood, rubber, fruit. Flavor: Malty and a bit bitter, caramel, wood, rubber, licorice, fruit, grass. Typical Jämtlands character. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - APR 29, 2009
On tap at Bishops Arms, Karlstad. Påsköl 2009 - is this a new one? Pours an amber color with a nice white head. Aroma is malty with caramel, toffee, dried fruits and some hops. Flavour is malty and caramely, somewhat sweet with toffee and dried fruits. Mostly aromatic hoppy with some grassy and citrusy notes. Light bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel, medium carbonation, body is medium. A well done beer from Jämtlands - something of a "revenge" after their infected(?) IPA... Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 2, 2009
bottle, thank you jeverszeuge from BTO. Not sure if its the 07 or the 08 vintage as it is not written on the label. Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty with hints of cocoa, bitter chcocolate and rainsins. The alcohol is detectable in the finish. TBone (17434) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 31, 2008
