KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 22, 2008
Lots of malt, dar dried fruit, raisins. Very full mout feel. Enoug bitternett to balance it. Another winner from Jämtland - how I’d love to have regular access to their beers...

pilsnerrogge (2935) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 11, 2008
UPDATED: APR 15, 2008 Bottled:
Reddish brown with a dense head. Malt and marshmallow aroma . Sweet and malty flavour with notes of toffee and chocolate. The hops show up late and brings a slight roastiness as companion. Very Jämtland.

MaxxDaddy (415) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2008
Bottle. Pours brown with off-white head. Aroma was a bit weird on this one, with some dill maybe? Definitely a spiciness I wasn’t really into. The taste is moderately malty with a bit of bitterness peeking through. Gets a bit roastier when it warms up.

goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - APR 7, 2008
Poured a clear copper color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was odd with herbal and spicy notes. A hint of smoke also poked out. Short caramel malt flavor to start with a dry spicy finish.

puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2008
Bottle shared by MaxxDaddy. Light candy shell aroma, surprisingly like an easter egg candy. A bit of nutty hops. Flavor is fairly light, more of that easter thing, light spices/oregano and good hops. Better as it warms. Not too shabby.

Ungstrup (37309) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 5, 2008
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet matly with a slight acidic edge. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks joergen for fetching this in Sweden.

lagomswedish (213) - Umeå, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2008
Bottle from Systembolaget. Typical Jämtlands character in this seasonal offering - aroma of spice, seville oranges, chocolate and bitter roast. Noticeably sweeter than the year-round brews. Lots of liquorice and an annoying shampoo flavour that ruins the overall effect for me. Went well with a sweet cheddar cheese.

KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2008
Cloudy dark amber with large beige head. Slightly sour aroma with fruity and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel and fruity notes.

joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2008
Bottle. Cloudy orange coloured with a lasting medium sized off white ehad. Sweet aroma of malts and caramel with roasted notes and notes of grass and hops. Flavour of carmel and fruits with notes of grass and hops. Dry hoppy finish.
