Geeloranje kleur, veel koolzuur bij het inschenken, de kraag is snel weg. Zoet, metalig, vlak, weinig body, geen karakter.

F: big, white, slowly collapsing. C: deep gold, bit hazy. A: malty, honey, orange peels, spicy, nice fruity esters. T: malty, spicy, orange, banana, fruity, honey, bit yeasty, I was in front of this great “The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb” painting in Ghent and I like it, this beer is not so great unfortunately but still good to be enjoyed, medium to full body, medium carbonation, beer #1300 from Belgium, 33cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

Hazy orange with a good foam head. Malty with sweet notes, a little anis, saccharose, herbal candies. Bit too? sweet and herbal in the finish for me

Bottle 33cl bought at Willems en Zoon in Grobbendonk (I think). Pours hazy slightly darker blond with a small white head. Nose: candy smell, floral, malt, spices. Taste: stronger carbonation. Sweet start with a light malty character and a warm alcoholic feeling. Spicy pallet also. Low in bitterness.

An okay tripel, though perhaps not the best beer to have when you’re dehydrated after biking from Maastricht to Maaseyk. Sampled with Paul, Natalya and Marianne in 2016. Strong spicy notes. Citrus finish. Sharp hop character.
