750ml. This one is really different, it varies from really interesting to a musty corn note. Yeasty and green grass aroma. Peppery, with a flowery and yeasty flavor. Lively carbonation

75 cl bottle at Ghent Bierfestival. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma but also lots of malt and some citrusfruit. Flavour was a bit soapy and good benefit from some more body as it is on the verge of being a bit too watery. Very fresh though and maybe not the best saison I’ve had, but still very enjoyable.

Draught at Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Pale golden, small lasting offwhite head. Skunky aroma, garbage actually. Spicy grassy flavor, grpefruit. Hoppy finish.

Pours golden and hazy with a decent, foamy white head. Nose is sharp and citrusy with some tart fruits and hops. Flavor is well-balanced and not as sour as I expected, with lighter fruit notes dominating the malt and coriander playing into the taste more than hops. Finish is quick and dry. Not exceptional but good and very drinkable.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2015 Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, faint - light fruitiness - faint honey with light hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - faintly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness and light spiciness (coriander) , ligh citrus hoppyness, faint yeast. Finish is average, malty – lightly wheaty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light spiciness and citrus hoppyness with light alcohol. Quite one-dimensional saison/lacks character (and fruitiness and bitterness).

75 cl bottle, nice yellow colour with beautiful white, foamy and stable head. Smell: yeasty and hoppy. Taste: spicy, yeasty, hoppy, some sweetness within. Orange peel, coriander and fruity. Nice saison!

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 20, 2011
11/10/10/9//10

In Amsterdam. Poured hazy golden bronze in colour with fluffy white head. Incredibly grassy and piney hoppy notes in aroma. Very pleasant indeed. Flavour mildly moderate grassy hops. Not so much bitterness. Nice fruity aftertaste and pleasant finish.

750 ml bottle.
Pours a hazy light yellow colour with a white, lacy head. Aroma of strong sweet fruits, yeast and citrus. Flavour of similar elements but also some spices and caramel. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a finish of fruits. Plain good Saison, no new tricks here.

tiong (7620) - Espoo, FINLAND - APR 22, 2011
750ml bottle

Pours light orange with a medium head. Fruity, spicy aroma. Taste has hints of spices and is quite flowery and fruity. Easy to drink, balanced saison.
