On tap at GBBF 10. Pale yellow pour with a long lasting white head. Berries, nuts, plums and blackberry nose. Blackberry, plum pudding and pear flavours. Slight bitterness. Refreshing. I wouldnt mind a couple of these after a long day toiling the fields.

A clear golden pour with a lively frothy two finger white head. The aroma holds lotes of herbal spice, citrus, doughy yeast, and an interesting cheesecake like note. Lots of sweet creamy dough in the flavor leads to crisp citrus and more custard-creme brulee-cheesecake. Really weird, but really enjoyable. The palate holds pillowy effervescence and a clean, semi dry finish. One of the more interesting takes on the style Ive encountered.

Bottle, golden yellow pour, fluffy white head. Bready malt, slightly funky, lemon zest, pepper, caramel, and apple. Fairly good saison.

Bottle. Pour is hazy straw color with a thin white head. Looks like cloudy lager. Aroma is light lemon, light hay, light coriander, light champagne, and light funk. I am stressing light because this is a pretty subtle beer. There is an aroma or a quality to this beer that I cannot put into words, but I like it. The flavor is also subtle with notes of hay, light black pepper, light yeast, and a light funk. This beer is subtle, smooth, and really drinkable. Tasty.

75cl bottle. Pretty clear blond at first pour, topped by a medium white head that leaves some lace. the aroma is floral with some apricot, peach, and spicy hops that make a moderate appearance. The flavor is lightly tart with some bubblegum esters. lightly sweet with a grainy malt flavor, and finishes with a medium-bitter, herbal/floral hoppy side. Light on the palate and decently carbonated, though maybe not quite enough. Good, but not the amazing saison that I was expecting.

Bottle, shared with Tim & Jacob. Pretty hazy orange, white head. Nose is yeast, clay-like malt, some apple & unripe plum. Flavor is yeast, toasty malt, relatively strong bitterness & a little plastic. Somewhat astringent & appley/fruity finish.

Tap @ Beer Temple. Slight hazy golden yellow color, short head. Aroma of hay, barnyard, some citrus, bit cat pee. Taste is slight sweet, bit sourish, bit dry, some bitter. Decent stuff, but once you have the thought of cat pee in your mind, it gets a bit odd to drink.

Now this is a saison! Great golden slightly murky pour. Loads of citrus, on the noe with that great style busting pepperiness you expect from a great saison. The carbonation is spot on, and the finish is soft, but slightly bitter, and there is a little bit of funk for good measure.

750ml bottle. Pours a clear, shiny golden hue with a proud head of smooth, off-white froth. Settling slowly to a moderately ramped ring with a thin skin at the center, the head leaves behind a soapy wash that dries to round, wet flares and spots of lacing. The nose is nicely balanced, showing a malt base of clean, lightly honey-glazed cereal that is countered with dry, spicy yeast, peppery grass hops, and perfumy flowers. A hint of graham cracker comes to mind as well. Similarly, flavors show semi-sweet cereal and dessert cracker malts, perhaps a touch of caramel, all balanced by sharp, dry spices, merigold flowers, white pepper, and bitter grasses. The bitterness actually begins to assert dominance on the back end, as the malts dry out and some of the honey character fades away. Moderate in body, carbonation is fine but lively, tickling the tongue and drying the roof of the mouth quite extensively. Overall, its a very nice, mostly dry, spicy saison. Good stuff.
