Plus puissante et plus complexe que la précédente, le nez allie notes maltées, fruitées, houblonnées, pointe de levures. La bouche est riche et puissante, tout en gardant une bulle raffraîchissante et une finale amère et épicée. Belle bière tout en puissance.

Fat @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Gyllengul l med ett vitt skum. En ganska typiskt belgisk ljus l med viss stma, jst och ltt kryddighet. .

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 17 May 2017) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, grain, grass, citrus, pineapple and fresh hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, cereal, tropical fruit, pineapple, peaches, grass and fresh hops in a finish with a balanced bitterness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

From notes. On draft at Moeder Lambic – Original on November 11. The pour is a clear dark golden yellow with a thick white head. The aroma is definitely a little more spicy than I thought it would be. This is almost like a rye beer. There is a floral hop and a decent fruitiness present on the back end. It’s interesting. The flavor has a little more toasted malt than I would think, and it’s definitely bitter. The hops are present and there is a light fruitiness on the back end. The mouth feel is solid. There is a good viscosity, a nice crisp carbonation, and a lingeringly fruity and lightly spicy aftertaste. Pretty solid.
