Dark brown pour. Malty aroma. Flavor was malty with belgian yeast and oh my god prunes. Whole lotta prunes. A great start, but overall not terribly interesting. A bit disappointed, as it came highly recommended.

Medium beige head doesnt last. Hazy deep reddish body. Caramel and toffee aroma with fruity earthy mealy notes. Sweetish resiny fruity raspberry taste with buttery caramel notes. Dryish resiny fruity buttery caramel aftertaste with spicy notes. Not really successful. Too buttery, and too many odd flavour combinations. (0.75l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strmmen.)

Bottle of unknown age, probably 3+ years old by now. Pours a pretty clear copper with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of caramel, cardboard, sherry and light chocolate. Time has surely taken its toll! It is still passable, though, so all is well. Taste is of more caramel with a very slight fruity edge with more cardboard and other oxidatives flavors. Pretty dry. Roasty finish. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Not bad at all but definitely past its prime. It aged in a nice way at least!

Bouteille.

Bottle from Brussels at home. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Sweet and dry with aromas of caramel malts and hints of toasted malts and rugbrd. Hoppy aromas of lemon. Light notes of Belgian yeasts. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry finish.

A very odd angle to this one. Like malt whiskey or something, with light grit and basement musk. Very odd. Taskes like an old cask beer. Hazy maroon pour with ok head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at Sovereign.

Hazy, amber-brown colored, strong off white frothy head. Aroma is of malt, fruity apricot, some spice, quite yeasty. Taste is medium sweet malt, some caramel, fruit, apricot, some bread, spices, a bit too much yeast, medium- spicy bitterness, some alcohol. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. (bottle)
