Flavor is heavy to moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Deep, clear reddish brown with a thick cream-coloured head. Nose of sweet fruity malt. Touch of toffee or caramel at first on the taste, then gives way to bitterness before the bittersweet finish. Gets quite bitter after a while, the sweetness diminishes

Clear brown beer, no head. No carbonation. Light semi dry palate. Some sourish malt - that’s just about it!
Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar and some earth. Also mild syrupy notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with a slight spicyness to it. Big citrusfruity semi-bitter aftertaste.
