Cask at the Royal Blenheim, Oxford, 28-03-09 Pours light amber in colour with a white head. There is a good pushy bitterness about this bitter, some appleskin, its fruity, crisp and tangy. The bitterness really hangs with this one, very nice beer. A6 A5 F7 P4 OV13 3.5 scotty (1224) - SCOTLAND - FEB 11, 2009
Good robust bitter, well hoppy...the flavour stays for ages! Malty sweet, but the hops dominate the palate. Great brew, could certainly quaff a few of these...only got one tho! Gift pack. GNome (41) - Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2008

Not bad but not amazing. Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 6th Feb 2008. Yellowy amber colour. Simple malt and hop aroma. Likewise basic flavour and a thin palate. Very much an everyday bitter - doesn’t do anything particularly wrong but is too bland to leave a lasting impression.
