COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the midnight black ’Bullet Nosed Betty’ steam engine #6060 brought back to life by Jasper’s Harry Home. The 6060 is a traditional, dry Irish-style stout with a wonderfully complex roast character. This is a beer to make the Irish giant proud.

2017-06-20. Black body with a nice creamy tan head. 4++ Aroma has nice mild dry roast character. Flavour is thin, watery roast. Smooth light bodied palate, soft nitro carbonation. A thin version of an Irish Stout - Reminds me a bit of Murphys actually. It’s pleasant but makes me want more from it. 7/4-5/6/3/13-14 On tap at Jasper Brewing, Jasper.

Decent creamy head and dark body. Soft coffee or roasted barley on the nose. Soft roasted barley flavour with a hint of harshness. Drinkable but not too tasty.

On tap at Jasper Brewing Company, Jasper. Aroma had bread, roasted, caramel, chocolat, coffee. Black beer with a tan creamy head. Only one that arrived at the table with a head worth mentioning. Aroma had peat, roasted to burned. Started ok but in the end I could only think: watery coffee.

Dark brown bordering on black, with a thick white/tan head.aroma is predominately malts and chocolate. Taste of espresso and chocolate with an almost smoky taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Jasper Brewing, pours a near-black with a slight amber tinge and a creamy tan head. Aroma brings out notes of coffee and cocoa. Flavour is similar, starting off with roasted malt and coffee, and leaving a very pronounced cocoa powder finish. Dry and smooth, and highly drinkable for a big heavy stout. Very nice.

Pours an opaque black with a thick creamy brown head due to Nitro. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasted malts, coffee and bitter dark chocolate. Bit thin on the mouthfeel but a nice dry stout.

our was almost black with nitro charged beige head that left some sloppy lacing. Aromas of roasted malts and coffee. Taste is roasted malts and burnt coffee with some trace of hop bitterness in the finish a pretty decent stout.

Pint handed to me with a butifull cascade inveloping the intire pint, beer looks good, but maybe the body is a touch on the red side instead of pitch black. Crown is fluffy and thick.........the crown actauly replicates a Guiness capbetter then any other stout I’ve seen. Aroma is mild and hard to detirmin. Watching soccer........ It’s more boring then this beer. Taste is very smoky.... and has a mild watered down bacon flavor. So very watery. Burnt malts, burnt sugar, hops I guess. A flavourless bitter lingers forever. This my friends is a crapy stout that is highly drinkable.............I’ve had thicker more intence brown ales. Soccer needs more Hockey fights!!! Brew is drinkable but yet shit for the style....... and there still three weeks until hockey... in to the 70th min and the soccer game is still 0-0. I’m so bored. But wait i think I just tasted bakers chocolate.... yes I did. I got nothing ells.

Draft to pint glass Toasted malt, wheat, cocoanut, chocolate and vanilla. This came with the stout 'cascade' and settled to a dark black with a creamy tan head...beautiful. Taste is chocolate, toasted malts, oats, with a tinge of fruity sweetness.

Draft - Roasted malts, molasses etc. A Guinness in look and smell. Black with a Denise’s perfect, almost artificial looking head. Chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla and a nice finish. Nothing unique or spectacular, but just really well executed.
