355ml can, brewed at Big Rock for Jasper BC. Golden and clear with a thin white cap. Nose is pretty fresh with grainy, bready malts and a touch of grass. The taste is dry with bread and grains and late grassy notes. Light bitterness and a hoppy aftertaste. Good carbonation and a lightish body. Pretty crushable.
Maybe I'm in the mood for a brew like this without even knowing it but damn did that first sip hit the spot! Super refreshing and zippy. Lots of clean grains, dry wild grass and lemon, surprisingly hoppy on the back end. Leave a dead dry mouthfeel that battles with the salivation. Plenty of flavour here to go around. It is mainly straight forward which is great.
Rating #2491 - July 23, 2017 - Can purchased @beerblast. I’ve abandoned all sense of chronology and am live rating again as well as entering the backlog. Pours straw yellow, decent white fluffy head. Aroma is pine needle, straw, lemon peel. Medium carbonation, body is on par for style. Nice interplay of grass, spice with citrus notes. Excellent balance, unabashedly hoppy but not overly bitter.
