(Draught) Pours a highly carbonated, light amber body with a thin, white head. Nose of mild nail polish, caramel malt and ginger ale. Nice oily texture, bitter hops and balance almost like a peanut butter malt. Average. Cletus (6351) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 10, 2005
From notes dated June 15, 2005:
Pours amber with a thin head. Smells of sugar, citrus, and grassy. Taste was very sweet with a light peppery note. Tim ’s talents as a brewer really shine through on all his brews. muzzlehatch (4977) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 2, 2005
4 oz sample at the brewpub. Clear medium-to-dark amber with no hea or lacing...light malty nose offering hints of candied orange, slightly oxidized...smooth, moderately sweet, light maple and pecan notes in the full malty body, light dry hops to finish, bit of scotch whiskey character and some smoky peat. Nicely done. VTHopHead (1513) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - JUN 19, 2005
Draft at the brewpub - Poured a golden yellow in color with a bright white foamy head. Aroma was malty with only a tiny hint of hops. Flavor balance was on the malt side and only the barest hint of hop bitterness kept it from being sweet. Finish was malty and lingered for a while. Not my favorite type of beer, but a very good effort none the less... mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - APR 12, 2005

Deep copper body and minimal head. Very lightly carbonated body. Looks like it was pulled from a cask which is exactly the intended effect. Has a nice caramel malt quality and a spicy, earthy hop character. A very nice, thoroughly enjoyable beer. Volgon (2761) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 21, 2003
