Aroma is vinegar, fruit and pungent bad wine. The flavor is fruit, slightly grainy/coarse, vinegar and a tart finish.

Bottle. Musty cherry, vinegar, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with minimal head. Mildly sweet cherry, caramel malt, moderately sour vinegar, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Very nice.

Pours brown dark red colour. Moderate beige head. Notes of brown sugar, caramel, sweetness, notes of berries, sourness in the aroma. Caramel, brown sugar, notes of berries, sourness in the taste. Quite sweet finish. Brown sugar in the aftertaste. Respect for such an experiment. Still quite sweet. Not enough complexity. Descent one however.

Bottle. Clear chestnut brown. Small off-white head. Fruit an vinegar on nose. Light to medium body. Dry taste. Medium sour. Caramel malts in the background. The ending is even more tart. This ale is fairly what it is supposed to be. Simple. Refreshing. Pleasant.

Very balance Flemish Sour. Typical sour/tart up front taste with a pleasing sweet finish. It’s one of my favorite Red Flemish Sours. And the fact that it is make at the Verhaeghe Brewery lends even more credence to this beer

My new favorite sour. Can’t go wrong with anything from Verhaeghe. On draft pours a reddish brown color. The nose is very sour and makes your nose tingle. The taste starts with that traditional pucker mouth sour taste but then mellows out to give a wonderful sour wine taste that isn’t overbearing. An amazing introductory sour.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2017 Really sweet beer without typical beer taste, it has taste of compote, beautiful bottle and orange colour, without any taste of bitter. But not everybody will like this beer because of its close taste for cider.

Bottle 0.5 Первый мой опыт кислого эля. Винный аромат, винный вкус. Даже и оценива& как-то сложно.
