Medium brown with a thin head. Sweet malta-like aroma. The body is thin, and kind of nutty on the palate. Pretty nondescript.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 24, 2011
Draft in sampler set @ Remcon location. Is copper brown, deep with even lacing. Very dry brown bread aroma. Flavors have a surprising amount of mocha. Nice. Thin and on the sweet side.

tap at brewpub: Hmm, I have to tell you that this brown ale is very good. Im not a brown ale fan, but this definately was right on for being one of the best i have ever had. The ale had more hops than most brown ales. Not half as strong as DFG indian brown, but more balanced and more on par for a traditional brown ale. very very good!!!

Bredy aroma. Brown in color with hint of off-white head. Roasty flavor, leaning towards stout. A great, straight forward brown ale.

[Tap] Pours a clear brown color. Plenty of off-white head with good lacing. Dry and dusty aroma of grains and cocoa. Roasted malts dominate the taste, with burnt caramel and a light coffee roast as well. Sweet hazelnut and fleeting vanilla notes finish it off. Medium-light palate. A decent brew!

Draught at Jaxons Restaurant & Brewing Co., El Paso, Texas.
Small head, clear dark amber body. Sweet malty and little spicy aroma. Nice roasted tone in the flavor along with citrus, bitter hops and some spices. Nice and easy.

Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Sample @ Jaxons airway location. Mild sweet aroma. Light brown body with off white head. Thin body texture and had a sweet candy flavor. Easy on the palate wish beer would of had more body texture to it.

Bif (2262) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAR 5, 2011
On Tap- Served mahogany color with a decent head that faded to good lacing. Very mild aroma, sort of a mixture of roasted malt and nuts with a hint of sweetness. Has a very mild sweetness with a mixture of caramel and malt. Quite tasty. Medium body, smooth and creamy, well balanced. Easy drinker, first one went down way too easy. Not bad for a beer brewed in El Paso.
