Tastes a whole heckuva lot like a Sierra Nevada beer for a “southern” IPA, but still drinkable. Nice to see a hoppy beer focus on pine rather than fruit juice, but the hop profile never grows much of a bitter back end, instead giving more room to the thick caramel malts, leading to a rather nondistinct fade. Still, the pine runs deep, which I appreciate, and damned if Hop Dang Diggity doesn’t go well with roasted oysters slathered in hot sauce. Aggiebob (1384) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - OCT 1, 2017
Can. It poured a dark gold with a nice cream color head and lacing. The Aroma is pine needles with a resinous mouthfeel. The taste is slightly bitter more session like. voyageurmike (520) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2017

On Tap. Pours hazy orange with creamy white head. Aroma is of tropical fruit, citrusy hops and caramel malt. Body is medium and tangy. Taste is similar to aroma, very hoppy. Finish is long, dry and hoppy. Excellent IPA. kramer (6975) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Pours a clear gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is citrusy hops with a bready pale malt base. Not real intense on the hops, but they’re there. The flavor is moderately hoppy, with a very minimal bitternsss. Bready pale malt base, a little bit on the sweeter side. More pale ale than IPA really, the hops are pretty subdued. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Ok, but not great. nearbeer (5662) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 29, 2016
12 oz. bottle bb 11/01/2016 and indicating 6.3% abv, not 6.7 as currently show on RB. Aroma is toffee, resin and a touch of grapefruit. Mostly clear, burnt orange-amber body with a disc of beady bubbles on top. Light-medium body has a pleasant medium carbonation and a definite dry slant at the finish line. Balanced flavors of toffee and resin with a touch of mixed citrus zest. Finish has a bit of wooden hop and orange aspirin. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 13, 2016
Bottle sampled while on Jekyll Island for M&D’s wedding. Pours a pale, golden amber body with off white head. Nose is astringent, bitter hop. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with bitter pine resin, spice and light malt. Not awful.
