1/29/17. 12oz bottle from Habersham. Black pour with a small khaki head. Mild smoke aroma, some coffee and dark malts, well balanced, but a slight banana aroma distracts a bit. Mild, balanced smoke flavor, dark malts, but again that banana hint. Not bad. rdixon77 (3013) - Georgia, USA - FEB 21, 2017
Thanks drowland. Solid smoked Porter. Definitely has a meaty smoke profile, but it isn’t overbearing, some nuttiness. Medium bodied. aracauna (3680) - Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Nice dry porter with noticeable but not overbearing smoke. This is really what you want if you want a smoked porter. rollinsr (817) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - NOV 28, 2016
Pours near-black with a film of tan head. Aroma is rich and toasty milk chocolate. Flavor is smooth with heavily smoked character and dark prune notes.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2015 Growler shared with Aurelius - thanks! Deep dark brown pour, slight khaki colored head. Aroma has some light chocolate accents, a touch of creosote. Flavor has some chocolate accents, a touch of chicory, some topsoil. Decently dry chalky mouthfeel.

Inky, with a clingy light khaki head. Toasted soy and roast, tarry aroma. Clean, smooth, coffeeish with one lump of sugar. Slightly heavy body, some licorice notes. Acidic at times. GTAEgeek (2414) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 4, 2015
On tap at Bone Lick BBQ. Pours black, with a big, pillowy, tan head. Nose is chocolate, molasses, a little caramelized sugar and a light smoke. Very sweet, with faint roasted bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and a little astringent, and a little dry. Overall, this is a pretty nice, thick, and smoky porter. Cybercat (6145) - Georgia, USA - MAR 12, 2015

Sample at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, beige, bubbly head. The aroma is hickory smoke, pine, bitter chocolate, and a bit of an unpleasant funk. Syrupy sweet, with a mild, burnt bitterness. Medium body, sticky and a little harsh. Overall, this is a fair porter, but the smoke is a little off-putting, and the porter base seems unbalanced and overly bitter.
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2015 Pours a deep coffee brown just a flea’s eyebrow above jet black with a thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma has roast malt, coffee and toffee notes with hints of toffee and chocolate. Rich flavor has roast coffee, chocolate, dark malt and toffee tones plus a snippet of caramel. Thick, firm, fizzy mouthfeel rounds out an outstanding Porter. Drink it slowly, if not lowly. unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - APR 29, 2014
Tap @ Jekyll. Coffee colored, rich tan foam. Aroma of smoked meat. Charred malt flavor, generous smoke character. Tastes like bbq, chocolate toasted malts. Yum. (4046) chinchill (5314) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 4, 2014
On tap at the 2014 Secret Stash Bash (Atlanta).
Medium body and carbonation. Lively for style.
Light smoke makes this porter resemble a Scottish Ale.
Fairly rich, dark malt base.
Plenty (too much) smoke in the nose.
Less in the taste, at first, but then more smoke is evident in the aftertaste (where I find it more welcome). .
Clear dark brown body with a semi-durable off-white head.
