Decent, drinkable low alco stout, light intensity flavor, light body, some hints of cocoa in flavor, light dry finish. Proper but not interesting. Compared side by side with Dancing Camel Midnight stout. Slightly less robust than compared one. Darker in color; small, fast vanishing beige frothy top.
Bottle. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was roasty with malts, coffee and some licorice. The taste was similar to the aroma with more roasted malts, coffee and yeast. Not bad. Schlumpfhunter (195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - NOV 9, 2015
Farbe: schwarz. Schaum: schnell reduziert, bleibt immerhin immer eine feine Schicht da.
Geschmack: bisschen wässrig auf der Zunge, bitter, Kohlensäure sehr fein.
Abgang: wieder gebrannter Malz. Etwas bitterer Nachgeschmack.
Insgesamt ganz gutes Stout. drfabulous (8224) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 23, 2015
Draught at brewery. Light body with some chocolate and roast. Solid overall when on tap. Shain (176) - ISRAEL - JAN 15, 2015
UPDATED: MAR 24, 2015 On tap, very small sample. Should taste again. Pours very dark brown. Thin body with gentle carbonation. Somewhat watery mouth feel, as expected for a stout. Tastes slightly bitter with some late sweetness to balance. Strong roasted malt bitterness and some hop bitterness that plays together nicely. Strong somewhat smokey flavors, strong espresso. Hop flavors manage to come through. Some sweeter malt flavors as well. Quite nice, I should try it when I have another chance. rayaron (1920) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - AUG 6, 2014
Draught at Jem’s Beer Factory, Petach Tikva. Dark black with small brownish head. Roasted malt aroma, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavor is as the nose, moderate bitterness, coal, a bit metallic. Medium body.
