nephirem (499) - CROATIA - JUN 3, 2017
Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger soapy white head. Regular head retention, leaving some lacing on the glass. Nose initially a bit lager-ish. Malty character with grainy backbone. As it warms up some cardboard notes get more into spotlight. Thin to medium body. Regular texture, slightly thick. Average carbonation. Moderately bitter taste, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Aroma is malty and grainy, slightly herbal, a bit earthy. Cardboard. Some peppery notes. Metallic acidity in the aftertaste leading into dry finish. Overall, nothing special. Drinkable when served cold but otherwise pretty average effort.

From Costco. In Ikea’s pint glass. After dinner. Very refreshing and sessionable, zesty, with a strong presence of tasty English hops, like in a bitter. Some citric notes.
