Nice smooth beer with a Smokey wisp at the end, no smell, good strong flavours

Cask at the foot of the walk. Pours clear golden amber, nose is sweaty, toffee, taste is sweet, floral, toffee.

canddw (102) - - OCT 4, 2015
Golden pint with frothy head, slight haze and low carbonation. Nose has orange, urine and spangles. Sweet taste with pepper, toast, burnt caramel, lemon and a long gentle peppery bitter finish. Palate is very watery. Wouldn’t bother again.

Cask (Sir Henry Royce, Peterborough) (6:3+:6+:4:13=3.2++)
Very passable sweet malty bitter. Full palate, smooth and refreshing. Pleasant herbal and fruity bitter finish. Good sessionable quaff, and this is served on top form.

Draught (Kingston Arms, Cambridge) Golden yellow, loose head. Sweet malty aroma. Tastes sweet with light fruits, citrus, floral, a little watery, but also with pleasant sharp hoppiness. That’s the finish that you are left with.

kwik-lime (2194) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2015
Gravity dispense at The Oval cricket ground. Quite low carbonation, earthy hop dominates. Enjoyable and drinkable but a bit generic.

Light malt and hop aroma and flavour . A refreshing beer, made for gluging after a Lakeland walk.

Holmen2 (4433) - NORWAY - MAY 8, 2015
Pint from cask at Britannia Hotel 08.05.15. Clear golden. Dense, even and lingering off-white head and lacing. Aroma of grains, yeast and some hops. Similar and fruity taste, with lots of pale malt.

Rob_D_UK (1366) - Madrid, SPAIN - JAN 31, 2015
Light amber colour. Malt, a bit of citrus, and hop aroma. Very good balance, with nice, carmel malt and decent though not very strong hops.

evergreen0199 (3671) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2014
Cask at The Adam & Eve, Petty France, London. A straw coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Vague hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes slightly hoppy, malty, a little caramel with a slight bitterness. Not one to remember that’s for sure.
