Had a few pints of this in the Constable Arms in Sproatley near Hull, Lovely cold smooth session ale with a creamy long lasting head which went down a treat. Would highly recommend this especially on cask. imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2003

Cask and Wenlock Arms, London. Golden color. Marmelade in the aroma. Balanced, mild and mellow flavor with marmelade and fruits (melon, papaya). Finishes quit fruity with sweet malt and light bitterness. Svesse (8601) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2006
(Cask at Lion Tavern, Liverpool, 25 July) Colour is amber with brown notes, white disappearing head. Nose is malty, nutty (almond) with some dark fruit. Same goes for the taste: malty, nutty, dark fruit, prunes and a balanced bitterness in the dry, dusty finish. Balance is the word. In perfect condition, as always at the Lion Tavern.
