Cask (handpump) @ The Masque Haunt, Greater London, England EC1.detroitsteel (235) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2008
Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dusty, berry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
On at a Wetherspoons in Canterbury. A lacey, creamish palete, easy to drink. Touch of apple sauce (zingy fruit, sweetish), but not pronouced. An ok bitter. imdownthepub (15331) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2008
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Amber to ruby with white head, hazed. Not particularly in great nick unfortunately, but a fruity, yeasty bitter with a caramel sweet character. Fairly average. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2008
A Mes rate: cask at Baker St Sporks. Dark copper with a ruby red accent and a decent off white head that leaves plenty of lace. Strong bready malt in the aroma with a lick of caramel giving plenty of sweetness. Similar flavour with hints of nuts and apple in the finish. Dry dusty note in the aftertaste. Rather boring. jammin7jg (139) - Burnage, Manchester, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2007
[CASK: The Bull’s Head, Piccadilly, Manchester 14/11/06] A reasonable Christmas ale. Nothing to special but not bad.

a Ruby coloured ale, thats both sweet and bitter bitter, with a slightly bitter linger . Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 23, 2007
Pint in the Kings Head, Monmouth Wales. Great appearance, deep red with a good cream head. Fruity and nutty flavour. Smooth on the palette. Good beer. Doppelganger (1389) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - DEC 15, 2006
Cask, Gardeners Arms, (Plantation Street), Oxford. Shiny dark copper, dense-as-can-be cap of tan foam, lingering and lacing tenatiously. A picture perfect pint. Soft farmy hops, a bit of clean malt. Pleasant aroma, though a little bit low volume. Silky soft palate. Farmy, resiny hops, coppery malt. A lovely winter seasonal. A wholesome, honest beer. KnutAlbert (6792) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 6, 2006
Handpump, Hand and Flower, Kensington. Brown/reddish ale with small head. Full malt, but dominated by the hops - lemongrass, resin, which linger for a long time. Very refreshing, a great beer. harrisoni (19336) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2006
Cask handpump at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Ruby colour with lasting dark beige head. Soft in mouth, goodish malts, some choc. Reasonable condition, bit of dryness on end, from malt and hop. Nice dark fruit, dark plums and choc on aroma. Blackberry fruit too. Drinkable.
