dynamiteninja (1872) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2012
Cask conditioned at tge Ralph (jdw), Richmond. Medium off white head. Mahogany body. Grainy malt, oak, red fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, toffee, must be some black malt in there, coca coka and some coffee. Pretty bitter. Dry finish. Soft mouthfeel. Not as good or as complex as it once was.

dogbomb (1239) - ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2012
Cask. Dark brown with a slight haze, ruby hints and a thick tan head. Deep malt and straw nose. First wave in mouth is malty then a whole swathe of Licorice. Really rich Licorice flavours which then fade back to a pleasant bitter finish with woods and a little malt sweetness.

Cask @ Moon Under Water. Rated on 28.11.2012
Aroma is malty with toffee. Flavour is also rather malty with toffee, some nuts and caramel. Usually I am not a friend of malty English ales but this one was good.

Beesbeer (452) - WALES - NOV 24, 2012
The colour is red chestnut. Hoppy, creamy and sweetish with slight coffee and then mild bitterness. Could so easily be a session beer!

ManVsBeer (10806) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2012
Dark coloured ale with a slight glow. Has a thin texture with some chocolate notes and a light roastedness.

Deerhound (10) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2012
Guinness type mouthfeel, smooth as velvet with a good malty palate balancedby subtle hopping.warming on a cold lakeland night. 4 of these and the world becomes a.much kinder place.

hrothgar950 (141) - Mabelvale, Arkansas, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Roasty malt aroma withhints of licorice. Dark coppery brown with khaki head. Malty rich with balancing hops and licorice in the finish.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 31, 2012
The colour is dark red. The taste is hoppy, creamy, a bit flowery-sweet, salty and it just has a bit CO². For me it could be more roasty and in some parts it is to mild. => Ok 10/8/8/8/-/8

Dashimus (252) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2012
Red chestnut colour with almost opaque look. Slight hint of coffee with a medium thic cream coloured head. Slight bitterness with a smooth taste. Rich flavour with a complex aftertaste. Great beer.
