Appearance: pours slightly hazy red-brown with good off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, leather, ripe fruit esters and spicy notes. palette: medium malty and yeasty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, average sweetness, balanced by a medium bitterness, average to long duration, dry finish and an oily texture. Overall: nice relative dry Belgian

Bruin bier met robijnrode gloed en grote beige schuimkraag. Geur: licht zoet, kandij, licht geroosterde granen. Aangename geur. Smaak: licht zoet, geroosterde granen, kandij, iets kruidig en wat donker fruit. Volmondig. Redelijke koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: droog noterig.

330ml bottle from a holidaying friend. Pours clear golden brown with a massive thick beige head. Aromas of chocolate, light nuts, almonds, caramel. Taste has light spice, more chocolate and nuts. Sweet finish. A bit over-carbonated.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque ruby/brown beer with a medium off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts and caramel; ends slightly dry with nuts, roasted malts and spices.

Overall:
This beer has a balanced and intense flavour. If only the aroma was anything alike.

Hazy brown orange color. Very small and subtle CO2 bubbles. Quite bitter aftertaste. I don’t really know what to think about it, not enjoying it much but not sure why.
