bottle ( 33 cl ) at home ( while coincidentley watching a docu about the maya’s ! ) this is a common, blond, special, blelgian ale. dame taste as 15 beers in a dozen. not bad, but you forget it immidiatley, and whats the point drinking this exact one if it doesnt taste any diffrent? fun if you dig mayas i suppose. not to avoid, but not to search either...

BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle listed as Maya Blond (6%, 33 EBU with a best before of 01/07/12). Pours with a mostly clear, very pale blond hued body with a very small white head. Aroma of seltzer water, very mild malt, clean, and bland with very mild DMS. Flavors show some DMS, a touch of fruity esters, light malt notes. Medium dry, average carbonation, lighter bodied with a dry finish. Forgettable.

Botella de 330ml. Copa Globo. Saboreada en jun´12. Color dorado y apariencia algo velada. Finallargo y afrutado. 330ml bottle. Snifter glass. Enjoyed on jun´12. Golden color, chill haze appearance. Brief, white in color, crown. A single ring remains on top. Aromas as expected from a Belgian: crystal malt, candies, lemon, sugar, yeast & spices. Tangerine notes. Warming, sugary & spiced flavor at first sip. Slightly orangish bitter. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Lasting fruity finish.

BlackHaddock (7562) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2012
19th May 2012: 0.75 litre cork and caged bottle, well in date, poured into three glasses. Lager looking brew, clear and crisp with a slight haze in the last glass as a minute amount of sediment managed to leave the bottle. Thin white head added to the lager/pilsner appearance. The nose was subdued: light hints of bread and yeast with a sprinkling of malt. The taste was boring: a dry and bitter finish didn’t help the overall experience at all, sadly it didn’t even start off well. Weak and a little thin body wise also. Let’s just say we didn’t get on too well and I’ll not be having another.

Borresteijn (7400) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 25, 2012
33cl Bottle from an organic shop. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of grain, sugar cane, some spice, musty. Flavour is light sweet, light malty, grainy, sugar cane, some weird flavour I can’t pinpoint, bittersweet finish. Light bodied. OK.

3.5
Swaroga (2223) - Warszawa, POLAND - DEC 27, 2011
75cl bottle. Clear golden with almost non existing white head. Nose : hay and bread malts. Fruity citrus with some floral honey notes. Sip : It’s watery with a bit oily texture, small carbonation. Little sweet with small bitter hop ending. It tastes like a "Saison" beer with a crossing of a simple pale lager.
