33cl bottle. Pours almost clear pale golden colour with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild spices, lime and pale malt. Taste of pale malt, spices, herbs, lemon, okay! Sten (752) - Westerlo, BELGIUM - JUN 4, 2016
Hazy yellow, white coloured beer with a small white head. Aroma is weird and spicy. Flavour is evenly weird. (Bottle 75cl) rdb84 (607) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 20, 2016
75cl. Dull pour, small foam, dark amber. A: anise, malts, lime note, some spices and herbs. T: malts, orange zest, anise note, pleasant herbal bitter development. Feels like Eastern brew. Long bitter finnish, herbal.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours golden yellow, dense head. What a list of herbs! Alas no golden ticket to aroma heaven. Quite balanced, spices not distinguishable, slight bitter. Maybe a bit underwhelming GSAP (742) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2015
PMPRNL versie gedronken. TheFoamhead (260) - Vught, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2015
Maybe I should start with the list of ingredients: besides the ordinary beer ingredients, Jessenhofke uses brown sugars, burnet (pimpernelle), savory, hyssop, thyme, mirthe and garlic! Whet do you think now? Well, I think I thought the same - but itís not that disgusting! Honestly, itís not disgusting at all. Itís different, sure, and the taste is obviously very complex. But itís well balanced, has a flowery sweetish mouthfeel and a nice heavy alcoholic finish. Itís so different and against the stream of the IPA hype that itís something I really can appreciate. A challenge for beer sommelliers and a nice beer from time to time.
This is not a normal beer - itís like a well composed dish! You donít know whatís in, you cannot differenciate all the ingredients but the taste composition is lovely. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - JAN 2, 2015
