Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at home, Saturday 7th January 2017 whilst cooking Thai and funking to Craig Charles i Pours dark chestnut brown, lots of dark soft candy sugar, a touch of spice from the yeast, a little banana toffee, fruity tang. Fine but doesnt really get me that excited. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber-ish brown colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly sweaty, mild cheesy, fruity aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin. Taste is slightly sweet malty, fruity, minimally alcoholic, notes of dried fruit, fruit parings, apple, raisin, banana; warming alcoholic finish.

750 bottle (thanks Mart). Slightly hazy brown color. Small size, off-white head, stays. Sweet, bready, maltose in aroma. Sweet, plums, alcohol in aroma. Sweet, copper, caramel, old plums in taste. Very drinkable brew when you are drunk.

Flesje van de biologische toko. Buiten bij het vuur, dus uiterlijk weinig idee. Vrij licht geloof ik. Aroma fruitig. Smaak fruitig met een vleugje drop en een bittertje. Aardig.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours mahogany Brown. Clear red/caramel. Nose of bubblegum, Winegum, sweet Candy. Malts and fusels warming sensation. Strong on the palate. Almost a barley wine. Good.
