On Tap. Had this at Take One cafe in Maastricht. Pours a murky golden colour with a small, non lasting head and little carbonation. Smell is very unique, absolutely a brilliant smell though. Can smell a whole load of bitterness there. The flavour on the other hand is also very bitter, but it’s just right, has a very dry aftertaste and goes down very dry too.

(33cl bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of mustiness, yeast, hay, pepper, grass, and other herbs. Flavor of grass, fruit, light pepper, coriander, herbal, and a touch of garlic with a dry, somewhat chalky finish.

Draught at De Klomp, Linköping. On June 3, 2009
Shady copper color, fluffy lasting whtie head. Sweet, fruity, almost candy like scent. Sweet, fruity, malty, floral taste, bitter and floral aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness.

Bottled (BB 11/2010). Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Slightly hazy orange color, small white head, some lace. Fruity and herbal aroma, when you know it is garlic, you can trace it. Decent carbonation. Quite spicey. There is some mango fruityness and cardboardish notes, but flavor is dominated by pepper, citrus and herbs. Garlic is notable in the aftertaste. Alcoholic too. Oily-plastic mouthfeel in the aftertaste. Interesting spiced up brew.

[email protected] Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized whie head. Aroma is caramel, hops, some yeast and alot of fruity notes. Flavour is quite attacking Belgian blonde with spices and fruits. Flavour and aftertaste is kinda garlic if you know what to look for.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Yeast, clove and a hint of garlic in the aroma and flavor. Hints of citrus and alcohol. Flowery hops. Tasty beer, but a bit too spicy for my taste.

FatPhil (17511) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 22, 2009
330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Beer Weeks 2009)
Hazy orange, persistent head. Turnip and root vegetable aroma, touch of horseradish. Sweet smooth palate, low carbonation. Very rich maltiness, some grainy corners. Well balanced. More roastedness comes through in the grains later.

Golden unclear color with a white thick head. A lot of bubbles going on in the glass. You can smell the spices very well and the garlic gives it a nice aftertaste. Very enjoyable for a small housebeer from Kuringen!
