(Draught at lbaren, Copenhagen, 13 Feb 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with tropical fruit, apples and citrus. Fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, spices and fresh grass. Slightly above medium body, slightly sweet and yeasty. Ive no notes of garlic, so I suppose its fairly well hidden (thank you). Nice and spicy Belgian blond, not straying too far from the middle of the road.

Bottle in natural foods shop Amsterdam. Hazy golden body, healthy head. Nice nose of hops. Strong first taste of hops and bitter, then gets grassier and spicier. I liked it quite a bit but the herbal bite overwhelming at times.

[bottle at EBF 2008] Floral hops aroma with some spicy garlic undertones, caramel and orange notes. Cloudy lemon appearance with a lacy, white cover. Orange-bitter flavour with floral hops and very subtle garlic notes. A bit spicy too. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter finish on the edge of the tongue.

Maria (10213) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2008
EBF2008. It’s a hazy, golden beer with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of sweetness, malt, and herbs that turns out to be garlic. The flavour has sweetness and the notes of malt, yeast and garlic meet in an OK way that gives a herbal bite and overall impression. It could be fun to drink with a piece of lamb.

Sampled @ European Beer Festival, Valby. Quite heavy Belgian style in this one. Not particularly well balanced, but tasty.

Tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Golden color, very nice white head. Aroma is sweet and floral. Flavor is a very fine balance between sweetness and fruit/floral, also hints of Belgian yeast.
