Mason jar filled at Jester King Brewery. Light amber colored, not as sweet as most and a dry finish. 77ships (10432) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 21, 2015
750 ml. bottle. Purchased @ Bierhalle Deconinck. Batch #2 – 10.09.2014. 7.4 % ABV. FG 1.005. IBU 29. Deep dark pomegranate amber, small creamy mocha head. Nose is hugely vinous, huge wine barrel with an odd mix of some coffee, sweetish red berry sour malt, caramel & even more tannins and wine. Taste is oddly sweet mix of coffee and red wine, oak, tannins, barrel, red berries, fermenting strawberry, cranberry, redcurrant, caramel, sweet cherries, citrus,… Quite a lot of coffee in the taste, like coffee mixed with very sweet red wine. Oddly sweet, hugely vinous & funky at the same time,… Creamy red fruit body but also somewhat light. Odd but pleasant & interesting. Quite a unique mix of flavours. The text on the label is hilariously sarcastic. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Draft at the brewery. Pours a light brown with off white head. Tartness, citrus, and some oak on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes tart and dry. Martinus (4632) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - JAN 16, 2015
Clear amber colour, firm cream head. Aroma of citrus, malts, light sour notes, very nice. Sour flavour, citrus, light hops. Finish wood, sour. Nice stuff!djd07 (15264) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2014
(from draught @ CBC blue session, Copenhagen 2014. Thanks for sharing today’s beers, RateBeer crew!)
On tap at Jester King. Pours a cloudy light brown with frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is a strong bready malt and leather. Medium mouthfeel with light yeast and dark fruits with light tartness in the finish. Very impressive.

The beer is hazy and amber to brown colored with a small head. the aroma offers, funk, green apples, earth, fruit, berries. perhaps a touch of champagne in the flavor with a pronounced earth and brettanomyces character. Granny Smith apples, delicious and tart. Easy drinking, yet wonderfully complex and intriguing. An elegant beer and one I would certainly recommend.

Beer share and provided by Adrian -- Poured from bottle into tekku glass. Was a bubbly white head and murky amber color. An interesting tart flowery aroma. Very nice. The flavor is much more intense but follows the aroma almost to a ’T’. The tart doesn’t linger and gives way to a nice sweet Saison flavor. It’s bubbly and nice. Overall a super great beer to sip and share. b3shine (9011) - Indiana, USA - AUG 2, 2014
750 ml bottle to taster at NatiFest (shared by jstax). Looks good; a murky light amberish brown with foamy off-white head. Smells good too; tart and funky with notes of plum and mild cherry and oak. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant, lighter-bodied mouthfeel. Good stuff! ethanTHEtrill (57) - - FEB 10, 2015
Bottle copped from the D Q. Poured into Prarie Teku glasses with a friend. Light brown in color with little to almost no head. Aroma of slight funk and some sour. Tastes slightly funk and tart then malt comes in with a little hop note then finishes tart. Another solid brew from Jester. wchesser (2110) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 10, 2015
Batch #1. Could swear I had rated this, but going from memory. Thanks to Errl for this one! Slightly cloudy reddish light brown. Nose of wet wood, light fresh and dried red fruit, soured malt. Taste followed with nice caramelized richness, tart cherries, light yeast spice. Really liked this one.
